Greetings from Petite Plus Patterns!

Here's our latest news.

Kathleen's Take on a New Classic

Many of you have asked for a blouse with a fuller cut.
As you know, I don't like to overwhelm our petite plus figures with very loose garments, so when designing this new blouse, I was careful to refine the fit with some soft shaping. The resulting Yoked Blouse is truly a casual classic that you'll enjoy wearing over your pants and skirts.

The Yoked Blouse has a relaxed fit with bust fullness accommodated through gathers at the yoke. The back is a little longer than the front and has a gentle swing.

Two-piece, set-in sleeves are three-quarter length with an added turn-back cuff. (Why do we offer a two-piece sleeve? A two-piece sleeve gives those with full upper arms a quick and easy place to add more room.)

The blouse finishes at wrist length with a flattering shirt tail hemline.

You can make this blouse with or without the collar.

The pattern’s guide sheet explains how to apply the lined yoke using a clever hidden seam technique from ready-to-wear that'll have you saying, "Aha!"

This pattern includes sizes 12 to 24 and The Perfect Fit Guide.

We've made the Yoked Blouse in silk, Hawaiian print and wool plaid. All have turned out lovely, receiving lots of compliments.

The blouse pictured here is made from a beautifully smooth and light-weight wool plaid from Pendleton's.
